Cinema Section Closed

Hello everyone. I have not been doing a stellar job of keeping my site up to date, and have consequently decided to remove the cinemas section of the website. The theater list was ever-incomplete and consumed more time than I had originally intended. This site began as a college research project concerning Oklahoma ghost towns. As I performed my research, I took many photos and decided to create a website. As time went on, I ran into other things that caught my interest, namely drive-in theaters (the Sapulpa Tee Pee to be exact). That interest morphed into cinemas as a whole, and before I knew it, the site had been consumed by the theater topic.
I frequent another site known as Cinema Treasures. This website is a wealth of information for cinemas around the world. The site receives much more traffic than my own and has an active user base. I already contributed to the site in a limited fashion, and found it to be a fun place to share knowledge on theaters. Well, one day I ran across a comment on a theater that suggested that my site is not a reliable source of information. The fact of the matter is, I do not do a good job of updating it, so the comment was pretty accurate. I do not want to provide inaccurate information on the internet (there's already enough of that as it is).
I was already considering discontinuing the cinema section of my site after Cinema Treasures added photo upload capability. Up until today, I have already added over 600 photos to Cinema Treasures and have barely touched my ever-expanding Oklahoma collection. I have decided to henceforth contribute all theater research and photos to the Cinema Treasures website. So, in conclusion, thank you to all that have visited this site in search of theater information. It is a fun project and I will continue to perform research, but will contribute to Cinema Treasures. I hope that those interested in ghost towns and other roadside curiousities will continue to visit Roadside Oklahoma. For those interested in theaters, please look for me on Cinema Treasures under the name Lauren Durbin.
