This was shaping up to be a really pretty sunset, but unfortunately the neighbors houses were in the way. Sure, I could have gone out to the field to get a clear shot over the turnpike, but dinner was waiting. Dinner won.

I went on a ride called the OKC Urban Assault Dual Sport Ride sponsored by rideok.com The ride consisted of navigating to waypoints around Oklahoma City in the most creative manner possible.

Notice that the label says "for men." Why am I not surprised?

After all, this was a weekend of riding, right? This was a stop along our street route on Saturday. Well, it wasn't supposed to be a stop, but the rocks sort of forced our hand. Here's a nice group shot before we had to double back.

Well, we did ride, but we also did a lot of standing around. The ride shots weren't all that interesting today, so here is a flower shot.

Well that's what it sounds like, at least. Recently it seems that these helicopters have been flying over a lot. The noise level is probably similar to a nearby tornado, and the feeling is likely a lot like a small earthquake.

I was introduced to the miracle of getting your "hair did" at the local beauty college at half the price of a salon, and thus found myself in Northpark Mall. I was shocked by two things: the price tags on the mall merchandise ($20000 fur???) and the number of mall walkers in there. I was mainly occupied with the second observation. The day that I was there was absolutely gorgeous...70 degrees...sunny...why aren't these people outside??

He's just such a willing subject and so cute in the snow. Its a good thing we got out early, because the snow was pretty much gone by the end of the day. Easy come, easy go.
